Our work is driven by social and environmental values drawing on the collective skills and experience of the members and partners in the private, civic, NGO, academic and public sectors. We develop land aligned to our values as well as offering consulting services to assist existing projects achieve better long-term social, economic and environmental outcomes. For example the Lukhanyo Hub neighbourhood centre project that we have created in South Africa has been embraced by the government as an official Test Bed development for replication. An innovative cross-government department Task Team has been formed, which we jointly coordinate, to co-create a project delivery model based on our approach, called the Resilient Neighbourhood Model (RNM) for future government projects.
Core Members of Collective + PartnersRCDC’s primary service is to implement the Resilient Neighbourhood Model, which aims to provide context-specific solutions. No two sites are the same, which is why RCDC has build a collective of partners, from which service providers can be drawn that are required to meet the needs of specific projects.
